Vascularity is often a sign of muscle mass, but is it really? Yes and no. As I discussed, its a sign of leanness, but a well developed body with low body fat percentage will always have some pretty crazy looking veins. However if you want a trick to get those veins out, carbs. Yes, carbs can help. So if you're on a low carb diet, don't be surprised if you're not as vascular. But when you do have some carbs, watch your veins literally pop out of your skin!

Let's talk about competing and the shreds! As any bodybuilder will tell you, preparing for a contest is likely one of the hardest physical and mental commitments you will ever go through. You spend months on low calories with hard training and daily cardio. When you push to sub 10% body fat levels, the days get LONG. What's normal doesn't seem normal any more. But you keep pushing, addicted to seeing your body get more and more shredded, crazy vascular and separation everywhere! Competing isn't for the weak. But as an athlete, I don't know what weak means π

2020-06-24 04:09:38 +0000 UTC View PostWant to see some VASCULAR legs!? Veiny, hard, and full! Here you go, 3 very revealing photos for you π₯ I get asked all the time, how do I get more vascular? Vascularity, or seeing it specifically, is all about leanness. If your body fat is too high, you won't see your veins. Of course, you need a certain amount of muscularity to see your veins "pop" but the leaner the better. On top of that, promoting a consistent pump through exercise keeps your veins full and ready to pump. Veins look cool, no doubt, but they're also necessary for proper health!

Walk around a new country for your daily cardio, try a different gym (which is really badass to do halfway around the globe), go for a long hike, try some of the sports of the area, etc. I do believe that you shouldn't be monotonsly stuck in your ways while on vacation. Muscles require a certain amount of time to recover and in depending on your rate of recovery, that'll dictate what you're able to handle on upcoming training days. Prioritizing your muscle groups so they maximize their growth is extremely important. Remember, your muscles grow when you recover. When you train, you break them down. A great beginners split example could be - Day 1 - Chest/shoulders/triceps Day 2 - Legs Day 3 - Back/biceps With days off in between
