Happy Sunday! I hope y’all had a great weekend!! I spent mine at home relaxing for the most part, as we are on lockdown again here in Oregon so what else do I have to do? I however was not alone... Instead of sharing my ass today, I have an exciting announcement, I found the cure for my loneliness! After losing Priscilla in July I suffered from a grief unlike any I have ever known, I have been experiencing petlessness real hard! I thought not having a pet to worry about while traveling for work might be the right thing, but after almost a whole year without traveling and with Oregon being on lockdown again, I have decided I just can’t do it any longer! While I’m still grieving, I feel it’s time... A few weeks ago I spent hours online looking at all the cats available for adoption in my area. I went to bed crying over all the kitties that need homes. I wanted to adopt them all and finally be the crazy cat lady I was meant to be! There are so many being re-homed currently because of the covid housing crisis. It’s so sad! However I was able to narrow it down to a few I was interested in for various reasons and after talking with my mom, I made a decision. I decided to adopt a senior cat because everyone wants a kitten and the older ones get passed over more because they come with issues already, usually behavioral or health problems. So many people can’t be bothered with the care of a senior cat and just want to get rid of them, which is so disheartening! As Priscilla aged, I found myself loving her even more. I wanted to absorb all the moments because I knew they were not going to last forever. I just wanted to give her the respect and love she deserved as she aged. So I adopted a new kitty!!! Her name is Maiz, she’s 12. She has no known health problems and is a total sweetheart and cuddle bug. She’s an indoor lady only, and was just looking for a forever home to continue out the rest of her days in peace. Her last said she was abandoned by her owner of all the years about a year and a half ago because they just didn’t feel like having cats anymore and wanted to go out more(gross). That lady wanted to keep her but was recently diagnosed with cancer and has to move, unfortunately she could not keep the cat. However she wanted to make sure she went to the right situation. Lucky for me, I’m the right situation! She’s still super shy and skittish as I am a complete stranger to her and my house is a strange new environment, but I just hope she’ll love it here. She’s warning up tho! She still hides a lot behind a chair in my bedroom but I wake up and she laying on me or she’s buried in a kitty cave under my covers. I’m already in love and it’s only been 2 weeks! I really can’t wait for cat cuddles again!!! If you are experiencing petlessness or have room for more, please consider adopting a new pet, there are so many babies both kitties and seniors needing new homes right now. It’s a great time during lockdown to give a new pet the attention and time it needs to settle. Plus it’s getting cold out, pets are the best lap warmers and cuddle buddies! #justdoit Unfortunately tho I leave for Florida for a week on Tuesday, a trip I had planned pre-kitty, so I’m feeling guilty about leaving her so soon. I know it’s going to set us back a bit. I’m going to miss her!!!

When I was in New Orleans a month ago my dear friend @katcalico got me a job on my last day there doing nude art modeling. It’s a gig she usually did at a art studio pre pandemic but lockdown made her come up with the idea to host it in her back yard weekly, which is great because it was Corona safe with being outdoors and was socially distanced. It was my first time doing this kind of modeling, as I’ve always been on the other side in art class, which was fun to switch with Kat who’s only ever no done the nude modeling and never tried being the artist. It was quite chilly so she set me up with a heated blanket, a heater and it was mostly lit by fire pit. It was very structured as I had to hold 5 different 2 minute poses, 2 different five minute poses, 2 different 10 minute poses, then a 20 minute break. Then came 2 different 20 minute poses, one of which kat joined me for the second, then another 20 minute break. Then another round of 2 different twenty minute poses. I learned the breaks are important not just for the model but also the artists hands, and jade for a safe fun little social gathering. I also learned that I’m really good at holding still for long periods of time and that Kat is a great artist! Wanna see more poses and more of the art purchase my next post. I got weird in my last two poses and the results were pretty magical!

I got to experience my first hurricane a few days before Halloween in New Orleans. It was so exciting for me being from a place hurricanes don’t happen! I arrived the night before and woke up to us needing to go grocery shopping, because apparently that’s what everyone does the day of a hurricane, try to outrace it to the store to stock up for your hurricane party, it was so busy in there! We got all the necessities for a great week and the makings for dinner. My dear friend @katcalico and I frolicked naked in the Cat 2 storm while drinking fancy champ-age. The power went out for hours so we bathed in bath bomb in the dark while our friend prepared us shrimp scampi in the dark with the sterno from his preppers kit. It was awesome! The next day I got to experience the other side of the storm when we had to clear a whole tree that fell down in her yard so we could prepare for our burlesque show in the yard the next day. I went to New Orleans for Halloween to visit a few of my favorite people. My girl friend Kat works for an event/production company that often does private parties, she had a gig on Halloween and pushed to get me hired also so that we could hang out all night and get paid a little. He was looking for a hula hooper(my friend Kat covered this role), a fan dancer and a sword swallower. While I didn’t fit in any of these roles I sent him some videos of me doing my balloon swallow. He immediately was down and sent the videos to the client. They said yes, but then later said “no porno clown”, that balloon penises were off limits(for an adult Halloween party lol) but they said ok. After telling me the rules, I replied, but “I’m Bj McNaughty” and he replied, “and for one night only you’re going to be PG McNaughty”, and so I was for one night only for one hour on a Halloween , entertaining rich adults on my best behavior!

Happy Sunday Bumday! I know it’s been a while since you’ve seen my face, so I thought I’d share my ass!!! Where have I been? I’ve been struggling with my mental health amid this whole pandemic, the election and with all the problems going on in the world. Well I’m back, mostly because I have no choice. We are now in lockdown in Oregon again, meaning no working in the clubs for me. Financially I’m fucked! I don’t think I’ve been this broke since I lived at my moms house and had no bills, which is way different now as this adulting thing sucks! I’m going to Florida in about 10 days for a week for an event, it’s a non paying gig, but at least I’ll have the chance to make tips and sell merchandise and have some fun! But most importantly I’m going to see if I can find a club to return to in January to travel dance at. Florida is tricky for me because most clubs there require heels, something I can no longer do, and a lot of clubs have issues with excessive tattoos and I’ve crossed that threshold(stupid I know!). Last night I tried something new... the guy who invited me to the dumpster open-mic told me about another open mic on Mondays, again not really knowing what i was signing up for, I just new it was a beer bar, not realizing it was outdoors and just in an open air tent, good thing I had a hoodie in the car, but was definitely cold! Also not realizing how busy it would be, it was crowded when I got there, all the tables full and overflow at one point. My friend who invited me said he put me on the list and upon getting there I didn’t see him so I checked in with the dude in charge who said he thought the guy was fucking with him when he said BJ McNaughty, as if he had some new alias and was trying to be funny, so he had not put me on the list, but I got on it pretty far back which except for the cold I was cool with but also less people. Turned out to be both music and comics. They did one music, then three comics in repeat fashion. The musicians performed inside the building in like a fish bowl manner while we watched from the street in a tent with the sidewalk in between us. The comics performed outside, on that sidewalk, even as passergoers walked by and at times even became part of the show! You had 5 minutes, they were firm on that. I need to get to a point of no notebook, but I think it’s coming along well! After waking up Sunday unable to walk, lay down, sit or anything for longer than a few minutes I had a video call with a dr I was prescribed some pain drugs Yesterday and while I felt high, I still was in intense pain in this moment. I hobbled to and from the stage, I mean sidewalk... I woke up today feeling better enough that I haven’t taken any drugs, yet. Sorry for the quality of video, but when your performing on the streets you don’t always get the best lighting...

Happy Sunday Bumday! I had a week of ups and downs... Monday I took part in being in a rap video! Here are a few shots from bts of my ass to brighten your Sunday! It’s been a while since I had a chance to put on full clown makeup, so I enjoyed every minute of it! But then both my basement and my car flooded this week! Separate incidents and both fixed, but boy does my car stink now! I was able to do some home repairs on my washing machine all by myself, leaving me feeling proud! And it hasn’t rained again like it did last Sunday so my car can hopefully dry out some, although I think I gotta take it somewhere to vacuum the rest of the water out, because that smell, not ok! My sunroof drains were clogged! I started dancing at a new club, but so far the money was super shitty and not worth going. The only thing I left with was apparently a sports injury! I woke up this morning in excruciating pain and barely able to walk, so any Sunday Funday plans have been cancelled! I think I pulled my IT band. I can’t lay, sit, walk for longer than a few minutes before having to change positions. It’s the worst! I already messaged my dr so hopefully I can at least get something for the pain tomorrow! Certainly not working until later in the week if I can. If it’s not one thing, it’s always another it seems... How was your week? Wishing us all a better week to come! #sundaybumday #tipthatass

I went to a pumpkin carving event/contest earlier. They provided pumpkins but you then had to leave it there so I chose the byop option and brought my own! I picked out one covered in green bumps because I thought it looked creeper! That fucker was so hard to carve, it took me forever! I went the more traditional route with the face, I’m pretty happy with my results! Most of my friends were there so good company and good food! I’m currently not drinking so I just had several ginger beers. It’s too rainy to leave my dude outside so I put him in the window!

Tonight was awesome! It was really pushing my boundaries because it was the first time I did this in a room full of strangers, comics mostly at that! And room is a bit of an overstatement, it was a loading dock in the middle in an industrial area and the background was a dumpster, I kid you not! I show up and it’s all dudes, I’ve met one is them once. My friends were late to show and but by that time many more girls arrived, giving a less sketch vibe. I was given the opportunity to pick my placement in the lineup on a bored, I was second to do it, I choose number 8, I believe there was 15 or 16 in the end, including my friendd whom I made sing! All repeat jokes but I’m refining them and getting the hang of them and I think they hit! The crowd seemed to like it and it was my target audience for sure! They said they do it weekly, I’m definitely interested in doing it again. It was fun, definitely a very Portland thing, an open mic in a loading dock in the rain, comedy and music, I loved it! I went to do the comedy thing today but the guy who runs the open mic got upset about something and left before it even started. I’m a little sad about this because it was the one thing I was looking forward to this week...So here’s a photo of me looking funny instead! I’m having quite the sad day today, I can’t stop crying! I’ve been dealing with bullying by the other girls at work, it’s professional jealousy, only they are using lies to slander my reputation and making it difficult for me to work at my home club, which used to be my happy place. I’m being harassed by girls who know absolutely nothing about me personally, nor have they ever tried! I’ve dealt with this before, only this time they are trying to use the current civic issues to further their own agenda, claiming I’m racist. I know I’m not perfect, but I also know I’m not racist! I don’t owe them an explanation of all the reasons I’m not, but I do feel they owe me an explanation of all the reasons they say I am, yet when it comes to that, they have zero grievances, only that they don’t like my personality. This all hurts my head and my heart even more. This makes me no longer feel welcome at my home club, a place I’ve been for 6 years, the place BJ was born, the place I helped make the desirable place it is today. The whole situation is really fucking with my metal health and my self esteem. I didn’t even try to schedule this past week, instead I’m taking time off to deal with my feelings and to come up with my next step!
