Added 2020-11-30 08:42:32 +0000 UTCI got to experience my first hurricane a few days before Halloween in New Orleans. It was so exciting for me being from a place hurricanes don’t happen! I arrived the night before and woke up to us needing to go grocery shopping, because apparently that’s what everyone does the day of a hurricane, try to outrace it to the store to stock up for your hurricane party, it was so busy in there! We got all the necessities for a great week and the makings for dinner. My dear friend @katcalico and I frolicked naked in the Cat 2 storm while drinking fancy champ-age. The power went out for hours so we bathed in bath bomb in the dark while our friend prepared us shrimp scampi in the dark with the sterno from his preppers kit. It was awesome! The next day I got to experience the other side of the storm when we had to clear a whole tree that fell down in her yard so we could prepare for our burlesque show in the yard the next day.
