And room is a bit of an overstatement, it was a loading dock in the middle in an industrial area and the background was a dumpster, I kid you not! I show up and it’s all dudes, I’ve met one is them once. My friends were late to show and but by that time many more girls arrived, giving a less sketch vibe. I was given the opportunity to pick my placement in the lineup on a bored, I was second to do it, I choose number 8, I believe there was 15 or 16 in the end, including my friendd whom I made sing! All repeat jokes but I’m refining them and getting the hang of them and I think they hit! The crowd seemed to like it and it was my target audience for sure! They said they do it weekly, I’m definitely interested in doing it again. It was fun, definitely a very Portland thing, an open mic in a loading dock in the rain, comedy and music, I loved it! Purchase this post for admission to my set tonight...watch my progression as I get more comfortable with this, even tho tonight was the most terrified I’ve been yet!
