i’ve been toying with the idea of setting my messages to free here; but after really thinking about it, I’ve decided that i’m going to continue to keep things the way they are (for now; read further)
i really enjoy making and posting content, but i’m a really introverted gal and i prefer my conversations to be a little deeper and more focused and if I’m honest i don’t prefer to be available to talk to anyone at anytime…so, keeping my messages set to “with tip only” is the best way for me to prevent that social burnout, and also it allows me (aka forces me) to prioritize those who are paying me for my time to talk.
overall, allowing free messages on my free account is just a little too “free” for me, but switching this to a paid account (that comes with messaging included) is also not ideal because keeping my page free helps me stay connected to everyone through all my social media account deletions and hiatuses. Having both is too much for me to manage and stay consistent with.
I’m not comfortable enough with my level of posting consistency and activity on here yet to do a paid subscription. i definitely feel more relaxed and a lot less pressure having a free page and giving it my energy than I ever have having a paid page or even both. And I would like to continue to feel this way.
in the future, i plan to come back to camsoda to chat real time with everyone for the time that I’m online. i also want to look into other platforms that have more “in between” options for me and you. if in the future, I switch things up and create more options; I will let you all know here 💓
