When I brushed a curl behind her ear, her eyelids fluttered. “He’s with someone else tonight. You could be too.” “What if he came home?” But she was already leaning into my touch. What the hell was I doing? I needed the cash that would come from this burglary. But the prize before me seemed so much sweeter. “I think in some way you’d like that,” I said, and she met my smirk with one of her own. “The safe is in the master bedroom,” she said slyly. “I could show it to you.” “Lead the way.”
