💓Here is an excerpt from my WIP. I hope you like it 💓

He teased me and pushed buttons that I didn't realize I had. Until he found them, that is. I was helpless, unable to stop myself from looking deeper. Interrogating every encounter with this new information. Had I been giving him the keys all along? Perhaps it was something I said. How did he read something in me, that I didn't write?
Or was it something I did, unconsciously, unknowingly, that drew his attention to me?
I could never say for sure. I only knew what I saw. What I felt. What I wanted. I let him show me, without question, without restraint. And I couldn't have looked away if I tried. The curiosity had taken hold again and I needed to understand. My mind wouldn't allow me to resist any longer. If anything, it grew more excited. And like always, I needed as much information as I could get. Was there something I didn't understand? Did I do something wrong? Did I need to change my behavior somehow? But then again, that's me constantly overthinking with rarely ever a complete answer. I had no choice but to wait for it to make sense to me again.
