in my post about my ex and the changed locks, when I spoke that and shared it, it released what felt like a hold it had on me, does that make sense? when i asked if i could get another prompt, it was genuine, and then some of yall answered and shared more thoughts in my dm's and something healed where I felt like I didnt need to talk about it any further. so I am sorry if you were looking forward to hearing more!!
there is, of course, so much more to the "story" of what happened that I am still processing through. mid process for some stuff isn't appropriate to bring into a public space. however-- yall have some great thoughts and if you ever want to know things, write the questions to me anyway!

Here I am, warm sunny morning, saw this wall of bright white with a nice layer of shadow and wanted to learn mating dances of the local birds 😜
The sun was angled in such a way where my shadow didnt hit the back wall, but the rooftop did. To me, a nice visual backdrop without it being overwhelmingly white. A two-toned vibe!
The sun is coming in from almost directly above, so the light on my body is nicely shaped by the shadows underneath my curves and bends.

OKAY SO. Story about these videos.
As I was moving out of this home, I decided to film myself in some self-portrait music videos. Part of this process was me just...doing some things? Whatever felt right at the moment. I didn't think hard about it, I just moved my body as it naturally felt called to and I didn't look at the footage until I was editing a song off my rock album.
These are two teasers I put together using the footage. What was incredible to me was that as I moved, the light literally changed with me. Each video has the normal speed version, and then the sped up version. Isn't that wild??
