Had another figure modeling class last night! I've been really loving these, and trying to make sure I do different poses each time. I ask them "is there anything you're specifically trying to work on?" and they tell me I'm doing great. Which is nice, and also I love direction when in this kind of dynamic! Haha.
In the video are my ten two minute poses. It's so awesome you can see one of the artist's and his process-- he drew so quickly!! Some others artist's work are shown in photo form here, the more defined illustrations are from the longer poses.
I did:
ten 2-min poses
five 5-min poses
three 10-min poses
three 15-min poses

i think a lot about how I wasnt raised with a good, solid father figure in my home, and how that has in part created how i relate to the world in ways that definitely do not serve me. there seem to be universal truths about us ladies who are comfortable taking our clothes off for strangers in the varying degrees we do.
I used to get sad and like forlorn about it, maybe a bit of shame too, but now i spend more time being curious about how I can connect to others and build myself up with those traits-- like making my smut, for example. two highly erotic poems and photos that show my artistry while also scratching the itch of LOOKATME LOOKATME TELLMEI'MPRETTY TELLMEI'MGOOD. But also I sell them, cause making money actually turns me on, so it's a win win win ahahaha
trying to come up with the perfect flows of creation and financial support. I admire those with steady income because there's a peace in that I imagine to be veryyyy relaxing
So I shared these three videos to my "close friends" instagram followers about my money situation-- which is hilariously (though effectively) based on blind trust and a thousand planted seeds (and counting)
and after I posed that, I moved the feelings through me by doing what's called tapping. I can share more on that if you're interested, or there's videos online
after I got myself back to mah body, I got this idea to sell my handmade paper in bundles, maybe $10-$15 per collection. and then it naturally came out like this on stage. and basically y'all I made $134 in merch sales (including two shirts and an album from my first band) while doing what I love. and that felt really good.
it got me really excited to keep going 😮💨🌹
right now I'm trying to consider whether I:
- raise $ to rent a car for tour ($1500-2800)
- find someone to let us borrow their car (?)
- raise $ to actually BUY myself a car because that would CHANGE MY LIFE in such a beautiful & helpful way ($16-$20k)
or hold off for a secret fourth thing that I'm not aware of yet
tour is coming together.

Did another figure drawing class today and my filming phone died. I have to use my main phone as the timer, which I really don't like cause for some reason it makes it more difficult to drop in to my body. Maybe I need to get an egg timer or something !! Did this intro for maybe a reel or something lol

I was hired to write a song over this instrumental, with the hook "I got a crush on you" that Josh had written prior and just hasn't had time to finish. He laid out an instrumental and scratch vocal ideas, I took that and wrote out all the lyrics and melodies and recorded a version.
This situation is fun because I got to practice writing using someone else's seedling and expand upon it using my voice and vision. We'll see what happens after he approves it. I'm not sure if I'll have to go in an record with him or if we'll be sending this song to pitch to other artists or if he'll sing it or what. But, we got three songs now together and they are going to do great things!!
Had another gig as a figure model last night! Short poses again-- 2, 5, 10, 20 minute poses for a total of 19 poses. I did a timelapse of the 2s and 5s, and after the videos are my test poses I found earlier that I referenced.
It's a completely different mindset than posing for photography. I have in mind the artists need to practice how the body relates to itself. I want to give them dynamic poses-- ones with a lot of bends or twists so they can perfect their proportions. I also have to be mindful of my own body and its limitations-- doing the more intense poses for the 2s and 5s, and getting less intense as I do 10s and 20s.
By the time I was on my last pose (20min), I laid down and was (almost) completely relaxed save my arm above my head! I'll show you the drawings for those in my next post!
UPDATE ON MASTER of my album!!!!! Thank you for donating to cover the cost of the test!!! The album is READY TO BE RELEASED. Now I take one next small step 🥹

These first two photos I put on instagram (censored) I was QUITE charged... like yikes here we go LOL
my shame is this weird I'm not truly ashamed but I'm still feeling a little guilty about being me. I'm working on that right now, started a mentorship of sorts~
The incredible artworks I was able to capture after the figure drawing session 🌹 absolutely stunning.
What we did was:
Ten 2min poses
Five 5min poses
Two 10min pose
One 20min pose
One 25 min pose
I knew one illustrator, Stephen (who is here on this page, hi Stephen!), and had just met the coordinator/host via instagram.

I wrote this poem sometime either last year or 2022 and I dedicate it to all of you 🌹
the edges of my body container
need nurturing, want
touch from the plethora
of sensitive, sweet men
I’ve surrounded myself with
if they could all just
talk to each other, stand
in a circle around the
table I lay on and
hum into the space, rub
their palms together and
press lightly on the bare of my back
transferring my own words of warmth into me
letting me know they received my transfer,
proving to myself I am generating
love, and wealth, and
self-acceptance
I am surrounded by sensitive sweet men
because I need and deserve that
they prove to themselves that they
are stronger together
that they need each other
all of them
to help me recharge

The next book I'm reading!! I had to take a nice solid break after reading the last book, "The Verbally Abusive Relationship" by Patricia Evans. It really helped me see a lot of patterns and I've had to take a nice amount of time to digest.
I kept sharing about that book on IG and here and I heard that at least ten people went out and bought it and read it/audio booked it. Honestly that was one of my proudest moments this last season~
