Gmorning crew & happy Friday. Two and half years into this thing, and the Covid finally got us! Even with the vax, it got us pretty good. B in worse shape than I am, so I’m just taking care of his big ass ;) I was supposed to fly out to visit fam today, so I’m bummed I had to cancel that, but oh well, shit happens!

Hey crew. We were supposed to cross back to FL today, but the wind is kicking, so we are gonna head back tomorrow instead. Plus we’ve been getting beat to shit by the fishing gods, so we wanna give it one more shot this evening. We must’ve caught 20 barracuda yesterday but no wahoo. Hooked up on 2 nice tuna. Watched sharks eat ‘em right before we got to the boat 🙄
Came back into port and got this room with a killer view for less than 100 bucks a night. Outta season right now, so it’s like we have the whole place to ourselves… Also, had the best pizza we’ve ever had. Fresh conch salad daily. Made friends with the bartender so she gifted us a bottle of coconut rum. We might never leave ;)
(I’m gonna put together a full length vid when we get back of the whole trip… I’m tempted to lay up in this room and go for round 3 and 4 with big boy, but it’s too beautiful outside. Gonna go snorkel the reef right now & try to spear some stuff before we head out for the evening bite)

Checking in. Just stopped to refuel and these big ass tarpon showed up looking for a hand out. Always neat to see.
We got on some more tuna last night. Sharks got to us again as soon as we hooked up. Still a blast though… Woke up this morn and hit the reef. Missed a couple hog fish n snapper with the spear, but found a nice big lobster. About to head out and try for tuna again. 3rd times the charm?! ❤️🤙

(Teaser) Checking in. We’re officially on island time! Sharks got to us before we could get tuna in the boat, but we are on the right track. We found wifi and a gym. Bout to head back out and try another spot for tuna. 3,000+ ft deep- our fish sounder is useless at this depth. Send some luck our way here we go !!

Alright crew. We are all loaded up and ready to hit the high seas! Headed out before dawn. We’ll be on the water for 6 days straight, just the two of us. I will try my best to touch base with yall and share what I can in real time, but internet access is going to be spotty- and we are really just going to try to soak up our time together, doing what we LOVE! We are targeting yellowfin tuna and then wahoo as we get closer to the full moon. I’ve got all our camera gear charged up with plenty of extra batteries, so we will have TONS of action to share when we get back state side. Wish us luck!! ❤️🤙

Rise n shine crew. Four offshore fishing charters in the last 5 days. Today is the last charter before I fly out to visit my grandpa for a few days… I’ve got a good buddy up that way that I keep in touch with. Hung dad type, total stud… He showed me the ropes back in the day… and he happens to live close to the airport…. B gave me the all-clear to make a pit stop and get my rocks off for old time’s sake… still thinkin about it… Anyway, will keep ya posted…
