Back in my power, part 1
I’ve beem quiet for a while, but I finally feel confortable shooting after probably the most mentally challenging period ever 💪
I’ve always been pretty transparent when it comes to my mental health, trying to de stigmatize everything that surrounds mental illness, so most of you might not that this was a big issue for me lately. But healing is not linear and I’ve worked (and still working my ass off) to be the best version of myself. That comes with working out to heal with emotional regulation, sleeping enough, cutting things and people that were damaging to my mental health and accepting more and more that scars and flaws on my body. I’m in my journey of learning, growing and kicking ass in the process!
If you are struggling as well, just know that, as the saying goes “this too shall pass”. And if seems like it won’t or that you’re unable to see it yet, trust me on this, the fog will lift ❤️

Here’s a moment of transparency: I'm preparing new content for you after taking my first real vacation in the last few years ❤️ after I finished the first draft of my novel, I completely crashed, more than I could have been imagined. I decided to put off what I wanted to work on next and take some time for myself. I know that I tend to neglect my energy and that I have believed in the past that taking breaks as a sign of weakness. Today I’ve learned the hard way that I need to work on this mentality... because it hit me like a shovel in the face. I don't wish a burnout on anyone 😅 so I decided to visit my own country, a place that I had always dreamed of visiting: the Bay of Fundy and Prince Edward Island. (I’m probably going to spam you with some photos haha). I’m coming back to you today full of energy and creativity and with one thing to tell you: take care of yourself and don’t neglect your levels of energy.
Petit moment de transaparence: Je vous prépare du nouveau contenu après avoir pris mes premières vraies vacances dans les dernières années ❤️ après que j’ai terminé le premier jet de mon roman, j’étais complètement à plat, plus que je ne l’aurais imaginé. J’ai décidé de repousser ce que je souhaitais faire et de prendre du temps pour moi. Je sais que j’ai tendance à négliger ma jauge d’énergie et que j’ai longtemps vu prendre des pauses comme un signe de faiblesse. J’apprend aujourdhui à changer cette mentalité… parce qu’elle m’a frappé comme un coup de pelle en pleine figure. Je ne souhaite pas de burnout à qui que ce soit 😅 j’ai donc décidé d’aller visité un coin de pays que j’avais toujours rêvé de voir: la baie de Fundy et l’Ile-du-prince-Edouard. (Je vais d’ailleurs vous spammer quelques photos haha. Je vous reviens aujourd’hui pleine d’énergie et de créativité et avec une chose à vous dire: prenez soin de vous même et ne négligez pas votre énergie.
