This year, so far, has been particularly exhausting; I've been met by uncertainties, roadblocks, showstoppers, gatekeepers, so many reasons to close up shop and call it a day. There were moments while working on my upcoming album, 'The Audio Shock Therapist', that I asked myself "Why do I even do this? What even is the point?", moments when I felt utterly defeated, crushed by what often felt like the cruel nature of circumstance. But through the thick of it all, through the many heavy thoughts that swirled around in my brain, I held on to something, something that gave me the strength to keep showing up, to keep fighting for what I believe in... hope.

'Higher' is a song I wrote in 2021. I had plans to release it as one of my mainstream singles in 2022, but as we approach the end of the year, the more I realize that it just doesn't fit with my remaining planned releases. Sure I could push it's release to 2023 but the truth is I want to start the new year with a clean slate; with new creativity, new possibilities. I've grown so much as an artist and I owe to myself to explore what that means, and so I don't want to look back, but forward. And so I'm releasing it hear, as a free song, to give it space to fly, and also as a thank you, to you, for all the support you show me.

'I Will' is a song I wrote, produced and recorded in 2021. 🚨 New Music Alert 🚨 ‘Eye of the Tiger’ is a song that I wrote in 2017. It came out of a jam session with Montreal-based and good friend of mine, Sookz. He started playing a melody on the keys and this song was born from it. I recorded to it and he produced it and the rest is history. We wanted to somehow pitch this song to the producers of the movie series ‘Creed’, seeing how it is heavily influenced by the ‘Rocky’ films, but alas never got a chance to. 🚨 New Music Alert 🚨 ‘Scars’ is a song I wrote in 2020 with the intention of releasing it on iTunes, Spotify, etc, in 2021, but the more I recorded new music the more I felt this song would sit better in an album instead of on its own as a single.
