This formula is not only incredibly basic but will help you stop content creator burnout. This was learned from Vidcon/Youtube conference and has been monumental. Now this statistic I am about to say is likely vastly out of date but it should give you an idea and we'll be using Youtube as the example but this can apply to Twitch, Onlyfans, Instagram and more. There over 500 hours of content uploaded to youtube EVERY MINUTE. We've gone over the thumbnail theory of the three E's and now we want to attack the algorithm of any platform and make sure that our content is regular, watched, and even looked forward to. We want to become a part of our viewer's everyday lives, become a household name, and get to a point where our work does the work for us. Live streaming - I don't recommend charging for live streaming beyond whatever your subscription price is for whatever platform you are using. (Not including special events more on this part 2) Twitch/Youtube you should have your subscription and for Onlyfans you should have your paywall/subscription. This does not include tips of course. Tips/Tip menus are the À la carte / Reward for you just being you. (Tip menu part 2) Setting a schedule is the most important part of any stream. Now some of you might be thinking "But my favorite streamer doesn't have a schedule." Those streamers have reached a level of success that they are comfortable with and know that whenever they turn on their stream or live content they know that people are going to show up. Why is setting a schedule and sticking to it so important? Because when people watch you they are watching you as a part of their day, not as a part of yours. Your viewers are getting home from work, watching you while they make dinner before they go to bed, and so on. The average user has a pretty strict routine of Eat, sleep, work, and play. We as content creators often can forget that we have so much more freedom than our users. When your end-user gets home from work the thought should be "Oh in 20 minutes my favorite stream starts. I have enough time to do X" not "I wonder who I am going to watch today?" A couple of side notes for streaming before we continue onwards to wall content/clips/videos for those of you that may be focusing only on Onlyfans wall content. Cover your viewer number or learn to ignore it, find out if your chat has a pop- option so that it's the only thing you're paying attention to. If you have one viewer or one thousand it does not matter. It's a big ocean and you don't want to scare off any whales by not being attentive just because you think your viewer count is 'low". Make occasional eye contact with your camera (always going to be going back to the three E's) to help with this I recommend sticking some googly eyes on your camera. I'm not joking! Eye contact is a proven method of fostering relationships in body language, too much is bad not enough is worse, you'll find a comfortable line. Always be talking, this part is especially hard for newer streamers, and one of the reasons I recommend covering or ignoring your viewer count. View counts are not instant on any platform they may take anywhere from 1 second to 30 seconds depending on a plethora of factors. How many times have you gone into someone's stream and they're just sitting there? You think to yourself "This is boring." and move on to the next. This will take time to train yourself in and is also very tiring, be prepared to feel exhausted when your stream is done it creeps up on you. Lastly create a catchphrase, community name, and logo. Ideally, you should have these things created before you even think of starting to stream if your goal is to make money. Commercial, why do they work for the average person? Because they are repetitive things that get stuck in our minds you want to be repetitive, you want to stick in the mind of the people you are watching, to hum or to say your catchphrase in their everyday life before they are even realizing it. If I mention the meow mix commercial how many of you right now would know exactly what jingle I am talking about? Overlays, equipment, streaming rigs etc that all comes with time. I started on a laptop with a built-in camera. Don't worry about equipment to start with, worry about being on time, repetitive, and engaging. I promise the rest will come. If you want me to take a look at your stream and tell you how you can improve tip this post 10$ and message me your stream name. I've been a Twitch Partner for 8 cycles, been on Prime gaming, and more talk shows than I can mention. Now onwards to daily content. I have been so excited for this post because as you can tell I have endless things to say about it. The formula that I am about to share is so obvious and so simple and will help stop creator burn out. Daily, weekly, monthly, yearly. and special events. Yep that's it. Let's look at what these different sections should include. Daily - Your daily content should be posted at the same time every day. For me that's my daily posts of nudes/lewds over on my paid onlyfans ( www.onlyfans.com/thespiderqueen ) This gets kind of a bit tricky. Subscribers are there every 30 days of their billing cycle your daily content is a cycle of the first to the end of the month. Unlike streaming your monthly schedule here is what matters. I for example do photoshoots and release content over the month of a mix of nudes/lewds or sometimes do a "slow roll" of me slowly undressing in an outfit/shoot over the course of a month. Because I'm following my 30 day schedule the slow roll may cross the users billing cycle, this encourages them to stay subscribed to keep getting access to amazing content. The average Onlyfans subscription prices I have seen range from as low as 3$ (don't do this. You're worth at bare minimum 9$ a month with the occasional promotion to bring it lower) all the way up to 35$ being the most expensive I have seen. Even at the most expensive thats a $1.16 cents a day and at my price thats $0.3 dollars a day and thats before we even get into monthly, weekly, and yearly rewards. Plus not only are people getting the content that you are releasing daily they are getting access to your stored and previously released content at the tip of their fingers. The ability to interact with you and if you're comfortable with it casual direct messaging. I don't charge for my daily content. It's part of the subscription/paywall. Weekly Content - This is where I start bringing in Pay Per View content + Once a week Onlyfans streams. I consider anything longer than 20 seconds to be a video and charge for it. Most end users have no idea how frustrating or hard it is to make a video, edit it, be happy with it and upload it. 25$ +a minute for videos and that includes 20 seconds to 1 minute and the more adventurous it is for you the more you charge. It's up to you if you want to run promotions on people who do longer videos, I recommend it but it depends entirely upon your volume. This is not for custom content, this is for general content that you send out to all users. I also sell my previous streams for 10-100$ a stream depending on length, content, etc. Which is especially helpful when I don't have the time to create custom content for that week. Monthly content - These are your rebills, your valentines day specials or other holidays. Rebills should be something with a promotional pricing or free all together. A reward for community members who are remaining faithful. Your videos where you dress up for a theme or put extra time and effort into have maybe even brought someone to help with filming, editing, or what have you. These are $30+ a minute and you should be building the hype up to all month long. Special photoshoots that you're not including on your daily timeline can also be included in this. You should advertise these on social media with flyers/videos by either making them yourself or commissioning them. It cost me 12$ including tip and the turn around time was less than 24 hours. If you're on a tighter budget you can do party flyers for as low as 5$ This is going to make you have a more professional look, show your potential investors (because that is what subscribers are. People investing in the product of you) that you're committed, and make it much easier to promote yourself. Yearly - THIS IS YOUR BIRTHDAY. There's no two ways about it. No matter what you do for content creation if it's safe for work or not safe for work your birthday is statistically the biggest money maker there is period. Content creators have the power to choose their schedules and when they work and that glorious ability comes with a powerful trade off. I would go so far as to say that working on your birthday is mandatory in this industry. Have your own private celebration before or after. You should also be making flyers/videos for this event and be promoting it at least once a month all year long. It's up to you if you want to do anything special on that day. These are the guidelines for success, not rules. Below are some additional thoughts. Bundle your older videos together for a promotional price if they are not moving as much as you want to. I would put this under a monthly event. Clips up to 20 seconds either charge 5-10 bucks or put up for free every now and then on your timeline. This should be a more rare treat. Not having a great day? Don't stream/content create if you're miserable that's the vibe you're going to give off and it's gonna hurt your wallet. Self care is best care. An affiliate code is something that gives you a percentage of money based on the sales of other people. Usually, you get an offer from a company that says "Hey we noticed your profile, and congratulations we would like to invite you to our influencer program!" or "Hey we would like to sponsor you!" (more on this under sponsorship) They'll usually offer you an image or images and a link. Sometimes they will even go further and offer you a custom link, or if you're "Lucky" product as well. This. is. A. Pyramid. Scheme. Also in our last rant remember how I said words have power? Look carefully at how they are trying to make you feel special, important, needed. (which you are, but for the moment that is not what we are focusing on) That happy feeling of euphoria that they are inducing in you is the same as a hunter putting a sedative in its prey before it shoots it down. A lot of us have been working really hard for our big break and the first time you get one of these messages it might feel like someone is finally noticing you for the deity that you are. You're smarter than this. Math sucks. Quite frankly I am terrible at it, feel free to correct me if this is wrong, you're probably smarter than I am. Let us roleplay in this example that Company A wants you to sell their T-shirt and you get a 10% commission. Replace t-shirt with whatever you want in this scenario. They are getting 90$ you are getting 10$ not to mention you have to pay taxes on that money. The average 1099 worker pays about 50% in taxes. (Spider society tax rant in the future) So let's say you sell 5 shirts. 500$ of product for them, 50$ for you? No. At this point, you might as well consult a graphic designer, make you own t-shirt and start bringing in that money for you. Heck, you could buy a plain black tshirt wear it for a day and sell it for 100$ and have paid 5$ for it at a corporate company lets call it shallmart. The most predatory of these companies will not offer you a contract, they will simply try to get you to agree to put their images and work on your site/social media. These people should be turned down immediately. Do not ever, ever do anything without a contract. Even with a contract, you should be careful. I have not only signed contracts but in years where I was manipulated, I signed people onto terrible contracts. I also will if you ever get a contract look over it for free for you. HOWEVER, I am not a lawyer. My advice would not be legal advice it would just be advice from one human to another. I am not responsible for what you sign or do not sign. I also have not met a single lawyer that will not review a contract for free. Any company worth their salt will give you as much time as you need to review a contract. You should -never- sign a contract the same day. Sponsorship Sponsorship is where it is at! Money for your time. The hardest part of this to assess on an individual level is "What is my time worth?" This is where your analytics come into play. How many followers across individuals and across all platforms. This can be one of two numbers for both categories because one is a true number and the other is your inflated number. Time watched, reach percentage, etc. Me, my Twitter @roleplayers_tv is at about (currently 11.8k followers) but the true number? Is likely around 7-8k actual followers. https://socialblade.com/ is a great site to help you figure out these numbers. When providing a sponsorship deck to a potential sponsorship program include your total list of followers, time watched, and more information about yourself. Sponsorship should include at the bare minimum financial compensation for your time. Depending on what the sponsorship is for you can press for other things. The minimum SAG rate for performers is 26$ an hour weigh that vs your analytics and what you think your time and involvement in the project is worth. With this information, you can also now confidently approach companies you want to work for instead of waiting for them to reach out to you. Opportunity does not always knock. An example of my rates 100$ an hour for online guest appearances. 400$ For appearing on a panel 1000$ a day + travel + expenses for conventions. This includes a panel, signing, being in games etc. 500$ a month for social media promotion + product 25$ a minute for NSFW video request content, if its under a minute still charge the whole 25$ Though I am thinking of increasing this. I encourage talking to people in your field. There is this insane idea that we shouldn't share rates, our wages, etc. That is the rest of the world trying to keep us down so that when they can get you alone it's easier to manipulate you. Knowing what we are worth as a whole group of independent workers will only make us stronger. "A rising tide lifts all boats." It's important to know the difference between Sponsorship/affiliate because people WILL try to trick you with the wording. Now does this mean you should never accept affiliate codes or always accept sponsorship? No to both. I have accepted affiliate codes myself because of friends or a project I believe in. I have turned down sponsorships because it's for people I could not ever condone myself working alongside. In the end, who you sign with is up to you. I hope this information saves a lot of you heartache, makes you money, and helps prepare for your journey. I recommend looking into media decks and marketing decks if you want to become even more efficient at pitching to various companies and events. You should be able to sniff these people out pretty easily. If you add too many promo accounts in my humble opinion, it makes you look desperate. I also feel this way for adding more than 4-5 #hastags under your post. Which. You. Are. Not. I STRONGLY advise against using actual hashtags. use an emoji or something else to break it up. I like to use the spider emoji personally. Also do not say words directly like Cash App Pay pal Venmo. Cash *pp PP Venm* if you use words like this you are more likely to get a shadowban. If you get a shadownban you're gonna have a hard time getting more followers. Check if you have a ban here https://shadowban.eu/ You're chances of getting a shadowban when you use hashtags like #findom #onlyfans etc is higher because surprise surprise most sites hate sex workers. What do you do when you get a shadowban? You need to have no activity or next to no activity for 72 hours. I recommend creating a backup Twitter so that you can bounce between the two. 3 days doesn't feel like a long time but it really is. We all want to make more money but we don't want to demean our self-worth in the process. Advertising and marketing yourself properly is its own investment. Avoid works like Cheap/Sale. "You can get my Onlyfans for Cheap! My Onlyfans is having a sale!" This makes you sound like a discount rack item. NOTHING about you is cheap. Inexpensive. On Sale. Excitement / Emotion - Whatever your emotion is be careful that you're not playing it up to theater levels. A little goes a long way. A slow wink, a corner smile, a bit lip. All things that make people tremble. Videos - Keep them 10-20 seconds for the best engagement. Anything longer is "boring" anything shorter is forgotten. Have a pinned post. Both Onlyfans and Twitter. Let people know where they can find you.
