Yesterday’s land visit went… pretty bad lol. The person who was selling just seemed really not genuine and like they were trying to hide something, which felt super icky. For example, they told me I shouldn’t do a soil test because “nobody buyers usually do that there” and that I would need to sign a contract without being able to see it first, and that they would read it to me over the phone only after I made then a promise to purchase agreement without any withdrawal clause… Yikes lady 🫡 You know what? That was a great learning opportunity. Standing your ground and trusting your gut when something doesn’t feel right is so important. Onto the next opportunity! 🤍

I’m into greens and oranges for summer 🧚♂️ Life update : Still waiting on to get my finances approved to get a loan. I should be hearing back next week. Took my appointment with the notary too! Eeep this is so nerve wrecking 🫣 As soon as everything is done, I will have to go and do some work in the yard. I have to make a negative slope to ensure that there won’t be any water damages to the carpentry. I’m so excited to do this you guys, and bring you along for the journey! There are many renovations to do besides that, but once step at a time. By the way, any advices are welcome!
