I loved reading about what makes a house feel like a home for you. For me, some small things that make me feel at home are clean sheets, candles, warm fuzzy socks, a nice cup of tea and lots of pillows ✨

# Happy first 𝐅𝐮𝐧 𝐟𝐚𝐜𝐭 𝐅𝐫𝐢𝐝𝐚𝐲! Some of you may already know this, but I really love learning new stuff. Especially the weird stuff that I will never actually need in my practical life 😅 I thought starting this little tradition of sharing something I learned in the form of a ‘’fun fact friday’’ could be cool and entertaining! *So, the mitochondria is the power house of the cell…* jokes jokes. Okay so a few days ago I came across a documentary on youtube about a parasite called Ameoba. About 97% of people who catch it won’t survive… Another name for this parasite is ‘’the brain eating bacteria’’ because, as the name mentions, the bacteria feeds on the hosts brain to survive. It can be found in the US, in warm or hot freshwater (lakes, rivers, and hot springs). Basically if you swallow or inhale some of the water from these sources while swimming, you can catch the bacteria. It’s mostly fatal because the symptoms can often be misdiagnosed as a simple headache or meningitis… main symptoms are headache, sensitivity to light, confusion and neck stiffness. Thankfully the Ameoba bacteria is actually super rare but nonetheless… super scary 🤯

Hey Thursday 💛 So far I’m having such a great week and I hope you are too. I’ve been painting allll day yesterday and today I’m doing the same! I’ve also been to the doctors for my ankle and getting an ankle brace fitted this afternoon. Apparently I’ve been walking on a sprained ankle for six months and it never got time to heal properly. Oops. That’s not going to stop me though! See you later 😈

Today’s painting day! I’m starting to paint a 5 1/2 apartmen..
Today’s painting day! I’m starting to paint a 5 1/2 apartment all white. How many days do you think it’s going to take me? 😅 After changing the bathroom sink that was cracked, filling all of the little holes on the walls, sanding, washing and disinfecting all of the walls, kitchen, bathroom etc. now’s time for the paint and then I’m pretty sure I’ll be able to put it for rent! So many first experiences in the last few weeks, so many learnings, trying, failing and finally succeeding. I’m so grateful to be able to live these experiences.
