Today I traveled home to Eastern Kentucky to check on family and deliver supplies to flood victims. The area has always been susceptible to flooding, but nothing like this. Hello strangers! I am stunned to find that so many of you have hung on while I’ve been unavailable the last few months. I thought you’d be done with me, so I was afraid to look at my notifications. I apologize for completely stepping away, but other parts of my life took priority…and will again. My high arched soles are in terrible condition, as I haven’t had a pedicure since summer. I promise I am alive. I am just swamped with life right now! I had this bright idea to interview for a different job a few weeks ago. To my surprise, they hired me! But I have to get another degree, meaning I’ve had to apply to graduate school…again. And move my classroom. And attend training after training. And prepare for school to start next week. And try to get my house put back together for new floors to go in. My poor children have hardly seen me for the last month. Everything will be fine once my schedule settles down in a few weeks. Thank you for sticking around! ❤️

I’ve got a major case of the busies! So much is going on right now. I’ve been working on my house, putting the kitchen back together after gutting it last summer. I’ve got new floors on the way. I applied for and got hired for a new teaching position this week, so now I have to move classrooms. Plus, I’ve gotta enroll in graduate school…again. And school starts back in two weeks! Trying to relax tonight, but my mind is overloaded.
