But at least I finally took a much needed long bath🛁 One week being back home… I think the biggest culture shock of the whole trip was returning to the states. Specifically, the south. I passed! I’m now a certified yoga instructor! Last night was the last night at the school, and we felt tremors from the 6.6 magnitude earthquake in Afghanistan 😳 Scared the shit out of us. Fun fact: The Uttarakhand region of India(where I am currently) is believed to be ripe for a Turkey/Syria level earthquake event. Scientists from around the globe are studying the area for this reason. Movement of the Indian tectonic plate (which moves about 5 cm every year) is believed to be causing stress along the Himalayas, which could result in a catastrophic quake. If knowing that fact, immediately following a tremor doesn’t help you sleep, I don’t know what will🫠😅😅
