I live with two roommates, and we all get along great. We respect each other’s space, but sometimes we forget to knock. One night, I was in my room scrolling through some foot content on my phone, completely lost in the moment. Just as I was about to close the app, my roommate barged in without warning.
She stopped mid-sentence, glanced at my phone, and smirked. “Wow, didn’t peg you as a foot guy,” she said, crossing her arms. I was mortified. I tried to laugh it off and say it was just a random page, but she wasn’t buying it. “No judgment,” she said before walking out, but now I feel weird whenever she’s around.
Ever since then, she’s made little comments—like jokingly wiggling her toes when she’s barefoot or saying, “Bet you’d love a foot massage right now” when we’re all hanging out. I can’t tell if she’s teasing or if she’s actually cool with it, but I’d rather not make things awkward by bringing it up again.
