I told my wife about my foot fetish early in our relationship, and she laughed, thinking I was joking. When she realized I was serious, she was a little confused but not totally against it. She just didn’t understand why feet were such a big deal to me.
Over the years, she’s indulged me here and there, letting me rub her feet after a long day or even painting her toes a certain color because she knew I liked it. But she still doesn’t fully get it. “I don’t see what’s so special about feet,” she’ll say, but then she’ll tease me by putting them in my lap or walking around barefoot on purpose.
I wish she was as into it as I am, but I’m also grateful that she doesn’t judge me for it. She might not understand, but she makes an effort, and that’s what matters most.
