This morning I had to go and check on the horses in one of the fields a short distance from the farm. I knew when I got back from checking on them there were a few that needed exercising, so I thought I would use my walk to stretch and warm up for later. It was such a lovely morning the sun was warm against my skin in the cold morning air.
I was walking between fields and pathways but there was never anyone on the tracks bar me, so I was just strolling along minding my own business. Every now and again I would take a longer step and lunge down to the floor making sure to lunge as deep and low as I could to really flex my leg muscles out.
After a few minutes of walking and stretching I rounded the corner to the field gate. To my supprise the horses were all stood at the gate looking at me. I hopped over the gate gave them all a quick check over and hopped back onto the track smiling.
Normally they are the other side of the field down the hill and it would take me a lot longer to check them. I had some time to kill and the farmer wouldn't know I'd taken a break.
