We revolve around these patterns. Even we as people fall into cycles or ruts especially during the winter months. We recently had fallen into an “NPC”(non-player character) like rotation of work and sleep and parenting and just trying to make it day by day while we figure out our new schedules. Together we use our alone time to reconnect and reassure eachother that no matter where we are in life’s cycles, we are still here and we still choose eachother. It can be hard to get out of a rut once in one. we have found that a constant drive for new experiences together & a mutual need for a sexual intimacy to tie into our emotional intimacy, helps us to truly recenter and focus on eachother. If partnered(mono or poly alike): what are your favorite ways to get out of a rut together and reassure eachother?
