Added 2024-10-21 04:55:02 +0000 UTCAs you know, at the beginning of September I had to go back to Scotland for an acting job STRAIGHT after I finished my month long run at the Edinburgh fringe festival (clearly Scotland can’t get enough of me!😝). I had terrible wifi where I was staying (it was one of those annoying wifis that blocks only fans and I was in the middle of nowhere so 4G/5G was non existent!). So of course I just filmed myself rambling to camera about my experiences to entertain myself! The place I was staying was so nice! Surrounded by actual sheep! Was such a great acting gig - but highlighted just how different theatre work is to tv acting! I definitely prefer tv acting to stage - stage is TERRIFYING! There’s no room for mistakes, there’s no retakes! You just have to power through with theatre and that’s just incredibly anxiety inducing! I’ve been doing tv acting for almost two decades now and this job really hammered home for me just how much I love TV work and being on set 😅
