another fun fact: getting your vitamin d through the pill form is NOT sufficient enough when it comes to viruses like COVID or the flu. yes, itโs better than nothing but thereโs nothing like getting outside. your cells prefer the sunlight hitting your skin. they canโt absorb the vitamin d through supplementation as well as they can natural natural sunlight so really try to get outside this week! my doctor even prescribed me TANNING BEDS for when the winter hits. the area im in gets less sun than Seattle in the winter, which is fucking insane. itโs why I get so sick in the winter (like once a month, at least) and why Iโm always so fatigued. so Iโm going to try getting my UV light from beds this winter to see if it helps with my autoimmunity and overall wellness.
