At first, I thought nothing much happens in astronomy, but wow, there’s always something new going on!! 🚀
Before I came to Argentina, I only saw a partial solar eclipse once — the moon covered like 20% of the sun. And I was so excited about that!😍 But now, I found out there was gonna be an annular eclipse here!! And I wanted to catch it!!! 🔭 Even though I’d only get 60% coverage in my city, that’s way better than anything I’ve seen before!!
...And guess what? I missed it 💔😭😭 I was SO FUCKING DISAPPOINTED!! Like seriously, I waited for this moment for so much, and it just slipped through my fingers... 😥 I even set a reminder, but somehow it didn’t help. Ugh, I felt like throwing my phone out the window...
I cried so much that day 😥 It felt like everything went wrong at once, and I couldn’t stop thinking about what I missed... I know it sounds silly, but I really wanted that moment. Like, just once I wanted everything to go perfectly...
But I’ve got a new mission now - hunting down a comet you can spot at sunset all October long! I swear I won’t miss it this time ☄️
