We'd been chatting with someone on a kink website for over a year now, but have never met him in person. He is well known in the community for organizing and promoting events and we only knew of his reputation through acquaintances. After messaging for a while and discussing collaboration on event posters for him, I felt like we established a friendship. There were odd things here and there.. he would ask for private photos of my body, photos of my face, selfies of what I'm wearing...I was a bit naive in thinking "he's a professional and just wants to have an idea of what I can do as a model for his posters"... thankfully I told him he'd have to use what's already available online for reference. Fast forward to last night and he messaged us saying there are some rumors going around about him. He sent links to threads reporting him as someone who assaults, harasses and gaslights y0ung submissive women. He explained he had an incident over a decade ago and it's coming back to bite him now. But reading through the endless comments from other women, multiple forums discussing his behaviour as a community leader, learning he's been banned from various events and clubs across the city... I expressed my shock, only to have him tell me I'm "idiotic" if I believe any of it and my questions were "deeply offensive" to him. He then said we should stop messaging, to forget the event posters, and blocked us.
