January has been off to a really nice start. We’ve had so ma..

January has been off to a really nice start. We’ve had so many sunny, dry days lately… it’s the kind of weather that makes you want to get outside and soak it all in. But two days ago, the rain finally came, and honestly, it felt kind of calming.

My girlfriend keeps going on about this katsudon place she says is amazing. She’s mentioned it so many times now that I can’t help but get curious. Apparently, the pork is perfectly crispy, the egg is just the right texture, and even the rice is worth talking about. I think I might need to check it out soon—she’s really selling me on it

It’s been such a simple, easy start to the year so far—good weather, good conversations, and now the promise of good food. It feels like the perfect way to ease into January.
