I don’t know how everyone is doing. Hopefully well. Do you feel lost sometimes? I do. Not so much lost in where I am, I love my life so much. But lost in my sight of the future. It used to be easy for me to predict outcomes of potential scenarios because society stayed the the same, and the laws of averages applied. But the shift in society has occurred in such a way our vision of what to come is very cloudy. I can’t go out anywhere without hearing people abuse each other. I avoid aisles with people because hearing the way folks talk to their kids and each other so harshly and so cruelly. Like I go grocery shopping every day and I see it every day! Just constant derision. People seem surprised when you’re patient with them or smile. It’s like they forgot that’s how everyone was. Abuse used to be shameful and even the worst knew how to at least appear polite in public. Now no one cares about what they’re inflicting on people around them. So rude, so condescending, so bossy and mean. Ugh. Anyway what’s your favourite game?

Pardon my absence!! The last week of summer has flown right ..

Pardon my absence!! The last week of summer has flown right by and I have been insanely busy. I spent all last week running myself and the kids to various appts and I am still struggling with the pain of my tooth. I know there’s an end date in sight…..so I feel this type of suffering is character building. The dentist said as long as I still feel pain then it’s ok to hold off on antibiotics. I really want to do this as I get really sick from it. But if I take the pain killers how will I know if there is actually no pain due to the pills or due to an infection….so I am just not taking anything. It’s very challenging to remain patient, calm, engaged, motivated to work, and kind when dealing with constant electric shocks to one’s brain. But so far I am overcoming. I had some pre anesthetic 🩸work done so I can get cleared to be put under to have the tooth yanked. 12 more days.

I recorded this a couple of weeks ago but have not had any luck uploading. Living rurally with very slow internet has some disadvantages.
