As many of you know, I’ve been slowly getting off my depression meds.
I was originally on 200MG of Zoloft (the maximum amount you can take) and slowly over the past 5 months I’ve tapered down, and now last night was the first night I didn’t take it at all!!!
Zoloft helped me a lot while I was pregnant, but made me SUPER tired, and more depressed than ever after I gave birth. My sex drive was so dead it was awful.
I am SO happy now that I'm off them. They put me in a literal FOG!
I couldn’t feel anything but sad feelings.
Im so so happy to be off them and I'm so glad to get my sex drive back already, and be HORNIER than ever!!!!!!!! I have so many years to make up for.
I’ve also been doing a lot better with my depression and anxiety. A lot of you know I suffer from agoraphobia and REALLY struggle leaving the house. I’ve been working really really hard on this and can now walk to the mailbox with my kiddos all by myself!! Even tho the anxiety is still there a little bit, I manage to push through anyways.
Before I was on my meds I had 0 problems with going places and talking to people. I can’t wait to get that back.
If you’re struggling and have been on meds for a while, I recommend trying to taper off. It is REALLY hard while you’re doing it, but once the symptoms stop, it is like waking up to a clear sunny day over and over again. 100% recommend. I know they really helps some people, but they made my symptoms worse and I wanted to share my experience in case anyone else is considering it
