Purvottanasana (Intense Stretch to the East) is one of the few really delicious shoulder extension stretches π€€ There's so many shoulder flexion postures - anything with the arms in front or overhead is shoulder flexion - but shoulder extension, where the arms come behind the body, needs some love too π

Dolphin pose - which is basically downward dog on your forearms - is an incredibly accessible way to work into your full shoulder extension, without putting pressure on your wrists. It's also step one for headstands and forearm stands! There's so much to play with in variations of common poses, and so many ways to achieve desired joint positions in a more attainable and safe way π I hope you're being safe out there! π₯°π
