One of the hardest parts about what I do is that I live in two worlds- I grew up as a performer, and in grad school and beyond I had "the show must go on!" just fucking DRILLED into my head, that there is no excuse to miss a show, that you power through and keep working, that taking breaks is for the weak and pausing to get better implies laziness...
BUT I am also a mental health advocate, and I recognize how unhealthy that honestly is.
The truth is that I feel like absolute shit today. I was going to try and power through and put together some content, and try and catch up on the handful of orders for customs that I've still got hanging over my head, but I am exhausted and I do not feel good.
We are at PAX, and it's been a wonderful experience so far, but boy am I struggling.
As such, I am going to not worry about content today, but I will try and get some bonus content out to you soon.
