From my recent trip in Bali in October!! ✨ I can't believe 2022 is coming to an end... I still remember at the end of 2021, I was like damn - I wonder where I'll be this time next year in 2022.
To be honest, this year has been one of the most stressful but exciting years of my life. I've deepened my relationship with several friends, am part of a solid team of fellow entrepreneurs and traveled to so many beautiful places!!! I'm so excited for what's in store for 2023. ✨
Left you guys on a cliff hanger. I was seeing someone casually for 6 months & ended things recently (about 1.5 months ago).
I was really busy with work, and found being in a relationship too demanding. For me personally, when I've had a super busy day at work, the last thing I want to do is text/call someone or be on my phone in general. He had a lot more time than me as well! I feel like if the relationship dynamic includes 1 busy person, 1 not so busy person - the busy person either has to find time, or the non-busy person has to be ok with limited time spent.
I wasn't totally opposed to the idea of getting back together once my busy schedule cools down...but after our interactions after the "break up," it's a no from me. I tried to break it off clean, and he was really pulling every excuse to stay together. I found his clinginess very stressful...I don't think it's ever ok to coerce somebody to stay with you, especially when they've expressed multiple times that they don't want to date you.
I'm going to continue having lots of casual fun, but a serious relationship is totally off the books for me next year.

Not going to lie, when I first visited Malaysia - I absolutely hated it. Was harassed by police constantly but as soon as I showed my Australian passport...they left me alone. It's been a wild ride, and now that I'm used to the culture here, I think I'll enjoy it for a long time.

I always change my mind about where I want to live but I think I'm definitely going to settle in KL from next year. I miss having a home base and most of my dayjob colleagues are based there (since we just opened an office there). I go where my friends go, I am truly a follower, not a leader. LOL
