I've had it for about 3 days now and I feel like it's only gotten worse. I'll be testing again in 7 days to see if I'm still contagious so I won't be working until at least then. I've finally been slowly catching up in my classes, my professor let us retake a test we all did poorly on and I did much better the second time. I also took my chameleon to the vet for an emergency visit. Moving really seemed to have taken a toll on him and I noticed he seemed a little less active and weaker. Chameleons and reptiles in general don't show weakness. Showing sickness symptoms in the wild will make them a target for prey so they will not show any signs of weakness until it's either really bad or too late. I had some suspicion it could be something called gout which is a very common killer in chameleons but almost always result in death rapidly. So I took him in and had some tests done and while his blo od tests all came back positive, an x ray was done and he had pretty swollen kidneys. The doctor said this could either be from an infection that caused severe inflammation or it would be kidney cancer or a kindey tomour. An infection is more curable and fixable while cancer would not be and it'd be likely nothing would help him ): I get to pick him up tomorrow but won't know the test results for another 5-7 days. I don't know how many of you know but I don't have a family. I don't have any close friends either and so I use all of my animals as fillers for that gap. I'm very attached to my chameleon and parrot especially, they've been some of the only constant things in my life and I love them dearly. So this is why it's affecting me so much :/ that's the update so far,,,, I miss working and being stuck in bed is so boring. I'm getting tired of soup 😭

I hope I don’t disappoint anyone by taking this break... I really love and appreciate you guys so much and I love creating content and showing you my fun side but I’m very behind in school, can’t seem to get anything done and now I’m sick and just not doing so well. My biggest fear right now is that I’ll disappoint you because I know so many of you look forward to my content but today I tried working and just broke down into tears. Strawberry set pt. 1 👀🍓😋🍰 hi my loves!!! Thank you so much for being patient with me!! I’m day two going on day 3 of the moving process.
