Love raising my pigs! They do so much good for my silvo pastures and deer plots.
They give me good food at the end of the year! And they get to be a pig.....living as close to wild as possible, but at the same time being protected by predators by the electric fences! Not like most grocery store pork. It lives its whole life on concrete, never seeing the moonlight or having a mudhole to play in. You can feel the difference when you eat the meat 💪
Then they only have one bad day, ....and it's so quick 🖤

Dogs and pigs can't sweat, they'll die from heat stroke quickly!

I build mini ponds on my land to help wildlife and livestock during these times.
It's nothing to walk out and see deer, coyote, rabbits, even vultures drinking from them....

I know as a former firefighter and paramedic that we'd often get praised for having to work in extreme elements like this......along with military and LEO! But I always felt the same about public works, garbage men, lineman, etc..... all had to work in this mess as well regardless. Sometimes there's work that just has to be done 💪
