Probably the most risk I've taken on this trip on NZ. I wanted to do a 1.5 mile cave exploration, go inside one end and come out the other side of the tunnel. However I was solo, and it was pretty dark with water up to my chest. As I was about to chicken out, a family of 3 came by and started the trek. I immediately followed and happy that they let me join them!

Abel Tasman National Park (north region of NZ south) is so beautiful. They have ferries to take you to various beautiful beaches along the coast. I also hiked into an area called Cleopatra's pool. Lots of sea life, great place to explore on water and land!
