I’ve been on this roadtrip since the 27th and it’s been amazing, but God am I sexually frustrated. Texas feels like the pandemic is over, very few masks and no social distancing. I still wear a mask though, because I’m immunocompromised. The whole world was supposed to have an orgy once the vaccine was out, right? But alas that’s not how things worked out. I’m still waiting for the careless hedonism.

These were taken with the wrong camera lens so I had to do a ton of correction to get these images to be less severely warped--and I only partially succeeded. I learned a lot from this shoot. We were using a fishbowl-like lens for some other shots and we forgot to switch it back afterwards.

I've been feeling very caged since I got back to the desert. Being in the forest was incredibly freeing. Clothing didn't matter, and sunlight wasn't a threat. I have one more month of being here in New Mexico, because of family stuff and because I'm moving back into my house starting tomorrow. I'll be in Texas most of October and November. I've started booking photo studios and beautiful houses to stream in and shoot photos and videos in. I've been looking for places with high outer walls or fences and lots of lush greenery--places that can be clothing-optional without the neighbors watching. The November part of that trip will mostly be surgery and surgery recovery, so I'm shooting as much content ahead of time as possible. The goal is to have endless stuff to edit while I'm too beat up to make content. Before I head off to Texas I'd like to get a significantly nicer camera so that my content can be higher quality--if Cardano reaches 5 bucks in September I'll do it. Ah, cryptocurrency dreams 💸

The story behind these photos is that I was on vacation in the forest and I fell off a log into a lake near the cabin I was staying at, while taking the photos for last week's PPV photoset. So I moved my tripod into the bathroom of the cabin and took a shower video. The video itself shows too much of course, but I took stills from it at moments when it didn't show too much. Because they're stills from a low-light video, the quality is low. But I still really like them, and they're inspiring me for a future photoshoot (a higher quality photoshoot). I'm feeling inspired. Some of these pics are just fragments of the stills, some are from moments of repositioning, some are actually posed.
