I had a shoot with Modern Myth the other day and it was fun! Well, mostly fun...I managed to slice my foot open on an oyster bed on the way out of the water for the beach shoot. Kind of paranoid about that a bit since there are way too many horror stories in my area of FL about infections and loss of limbs from this kind of thing, so I've been watching it round the clock. But we did a fun July 4th shoot and a Ninja Turtle nerd fest. I'll post the pix in the near future, but here's a sneak peek!
We upped our nerd game on last week's The A Show with April Hunter podcast and special guest, Roland Mann. Roland was an editor for Marvel Comics and now owns Silverline Comics. He's also a professor who teaches...wait for it...the history of comics! This was a very fun show! This week my show may be on my Insta LIVE due to my producer being on vacation. Follow me on RealAprilHunter. Same time. Wed 7p EST.

Superhero Saturday! Or is it Suplex Saturday? Either works, right?
I'm in Leesbugh, FL on Sunday June 4th for the Lake Collect A Con comic con at the Lake Square Mall if you are in that area from noon til close. I hope to see some of you there!
Hola beautiful people, Lots has been going on, I've felt a bit overwhelmed & burned out...my mental health probably hasn't been the best, and I wanted to let you know that I'm grateful you're here and I adore you. I'm live this evening on The A Show if you'd like to tune in. 7-8:30p EST. Twitch.tv/TheAShow. More coming soon. Xo.
Here, There, Everywhere. I've been slow with messaging and I apologize for this.
I hit a bit of burnout lately and a stretch of travel for a solid month with a lot of work involved. Wrestling in Louisville, then wrestling in Memphis, and now a road trip week in PA with stops along the way. There's been a lot of driving. I don't mind, but it doesn't allow for much work or catching up. Prep and working ahead, setting up house/pet sitters, keeping up with conference calls and workouts, hitting deadlines, writing shows and making time for everything that needs attention has been a challenge. Some things have been neglected, including messaging and sometimes updating. I appreciate your patience!
It's hard now that we have something like 14 inboxes to keep up with daily, too. Emails, sites, social media...whew. It doesn't leave much time or energy for creating or thinking. I don't think our minds should be THIS busy. There's a lot to be said for a little boredom and clearing. It lets thoughts and ideas come through.
This year, I'm trying to simplify my life a little...I feel like I'm spreading myself too thin and not doing things as well as I could be.
I do nearly everything myself, from making and sending out Etsy orders to setting up shoots and retouching photos, planning travel, site updates, making content, writing, creating The A Show, promoting everything...so I apologize if I've been slow.
Thank you for being amazing!

-New matches will be on the MLW page. Thank you to all who ordered!
-I also officially adopted the foster dog I've been taking care of, Morty...he's going through heartworm treatment, which is brutal and he's been having health issues and needs a lot of care and clean up.
So, that's some of what's been going on and I'm incredibly grateful you're so supportive and awesome!!! I appreciate you!
Xoxo!
-a We wrote an outline of two seasons of TV based on my childrens book, Monty: A Tale of No Tail (now available through Walmart!) and submitted it to an agent. We got a callback and have been on conference calls with various people in television. It's nice that it's getting a little traction.
HI! I've been on the road and have taken a bit of a screen break for sanity...I find I have to do this every so often and it helps with creativity as well. I'm still traveling until next week, but realized I haven't posted in a while and I hope you don't think I'm ignoring you! I'm not...I'm just driving day and night. Florida to PA and then all over PA, then back again. I stopped off in Savannah GA to wander around for a bit and fell in love with the eclectic historic-yet-modern city. If you love history, don't miss it. Here are a few snaps. Thank you for being amazing!!
The A Show with April Hunter from this week is available for replay here. We're also on Rumble, podbean, spotify and apple podcasts. https://www.twitch.tv/videos/1804358381
The A Show was live this week with SHELLY MARTINEZ (wrestler, pinup, cosplayer) in a fun St Patty's Day episode. Watch the replay here: www.Twitch.tv/theAShow
You can always see more of me on AprilHunter .net and my Patreon/AprilHunter page since I'm having issues here with post-removal.
OF treats everyone like p@do peddlers. Even with clothed cosplay and pro wrestling, they demand a model release for each and every "performer" in photos and videos with us as well, or they'll pull our content... something that's ridiculous. These posts can be used anywhere and everywhere, from mainstream news to social media without issues...but here? No. This is making putting up fun content challenging....and they've yanked a bunch, too. I'll stay on and do my best, but at the moment, I'm frustrated since I am a pro wrestler and cosplayer with lots of collaborations...not an XXX performer, which is what they seem to ONLY want to cater to.
OnlyFans keeps removing my posts on the basis of not tagging other wrestlers/demanding model releases (???)...who are not ON onlyfans...and these are NOT nude/adult posts. It's frustrating and fucking ridiculous. No other platform is having an issue with this. OF claims they now cater to NON PORN as well, but they sure don't act like it. They keep removing cosplay and wrestling. CLOTHED.
They also removed my exclusive collector's enamel pin I offered site members first.
Any suggestions? Patreon and other social media aren't doing any of this.
The Talking About Anything We Want episode of The A Show from yesterday...Thanks to everyone who was there live! https://www.twitch.tv/videos/1752884814
If you ever think to yourself, "I just can't do this" look to the Corgi for inspiration. I'm actually serious. Here is a small, dwarfed dog with stumps for legs...yet they're incredibly fast, can jump shocking heights, and have the bark of a Rottweiler. No one's ever told them that they couldn't be fast, agile, or big - and if someone tried, they wouldn't listen. So corgis collectively decided that despite what nature has given them, they would be fast, agile, and big. They don't have a story playing over and over in their heads as to why they cannot do something. They have a story playing over and over in their head as to why they CAN. And, they DO...despite all the odds stacked against them. Have you ever seen a corgi on an agility course? It's...wow. Guess what? You can, too.💚 I get so much inspiration from watching dogs. Dogs with one leg. Deaf dogs. Blind dogs. Dwarf dogs. Par@lyzed dogs. Heartworm-positive dogs with heart issues. None of them let anything get in their way. They don't have a pack of people in their ears telling them that they need to slow down, take it easy, that they're not able to keep up, they aren't equal. Therefore, they never realize that there's anything to hold them back and they live their lives to the fullest. Fuck people. Be a dog. Go get your ball.
Thinking of you... Fun fact: If you've found yourself waking up in the middle of the night on a regular basis, this is because humans have adapted to TWO sleep cycles for survival. It's theorized that we woke to tend the fire. Only in the past fifty-sixty years or so has that become unnecessary. Authors and doctors from the ages have written about these two sleep cycles, yet we are made to feel as if there's something wrong with us if we can't sleep straight through the night. There isn't. #ThreeAMClub
Hi! I realized I didn't get to post part 2 of this custom wrestling gallery, so here it is. Admittedly, it's always been kinda fun to get paid to dress up, kick people in the head, and put them in submissions. ;) Thought of the day: Too bad we can't do this on the streets, Fight Club style...settle our differences old school. I firmly believe everyone should experience a punch in the face at least once. Some may need this quite a few times. Pain is a great teacher of respect. After all, you can tell someone not to touch the hot stove but once they experience getting burned for themselves, they respect that hot stove so much more.
Fun Valentine's Day facts and even "funner" cleavage!
Not everyone "loves" Valentine's Day. As a matter of fact, I think most tend to dislike the Hallmark holiday which puts unnecessary pressure on us. But what about the HISTORY of Valentine's Day? I think we might all agree that it's fascinating.
Fun Valentines Facts: (courtesy of Crafty Celts) 1 - Cupid started out as the Greek God, Eros. The son of Aphrodite, the goddess of love and procreation, is known for shooting two types of arrows. One arrow causes people to fall in love and the other causes them to hate each other. 2 - ‘X’ Was Originally Not A Symbol For Kiss. Though we sign off our letters and texts X’s these days as symbols of kisses, this was not this letter’s original purpose. In medieval times, when people did not know how to sign their names, they would simply sign off with an X, including "contracts". To show their fealty, loyalty, and/or affection, they would then kiss the X before sending the letter. 3 - Candy Hearts Were Originally Medical Lozenges. Boston-based pharmacist Oliver Chase invented the machine that produced small medical lozenges. When he saw the popularity of these small pop-in medicines, he turned them into candy with cute messages on them 4 - Lace, commonly used on Valentine's Day, has a double-meaning. Lace is commonly used during Valentine’s Day holiday. The word ‘lace’ comes from the Latin word, ‘laques’ which means to snare or trap. Imagine it would later be used to symbolize snapping or snaring a person’s heart. 5 - Wearing one's heart on their sleeve has an almost literal history. During medieval times, people plucked a name from a bowl to learn of their random Valentine for the one-day event. The chit they picked would then be pinned on their sleeve for all to see. Love or loathe it, the origin is definitely interesting! Xoxo (<----meant as kisses because I can TOTALLY sign my name.) -a
