✨ health update ✨
Hi everyone! I am home from the hospital (again), and I have a good feeling about it this time.
My most recent trip to the ER turned out to be an infection and some other not-very-fun stuff, but I am on very strong antibiotics now (and I will be for several weeks) so I am hoping that I can be home for good now 💕
It's honestly hard to remember what it was like to not feel sick and depleted - but I'm hanging in with hopes for a good summer ahead and lots of long lazy days at the river with my dog.
I checked my emails today for the first time in a long time, and I was going to start to look through my OF messages until I realized that there are 130 unread messages?? You guys, what the heck!? 😳 I'm honestly a bit too overwhelmed to tack that on to my to-do list today, but I thought I'd let you know that I filmed the first one of my 'semi-customized videos' (2 hospitalizations ago lol) and I will film the other ones as soon as i'm up for it.
Also, my film 'boy toy' is screening at HUMP film festival 😱 hosted by Dan Savage. Isn't that the coolest thing ever? AND filmmakers get a portion of royalties from the festival, which is HUGE since most of the time I make artsy films for fun (certainly not for the money).
If you have a chance to sit in nature today and feel the wind on your skin, do it for me, because I sure did miss it all those days stuck in the hospital.
