And I have a huge trip planned. Those of you who know me I get most inspired to make content when out in nature. My last trip blessed you with nudes from the rainforest to the desert. This time I’m going around all of Australia. Let’s see what I can come up with!
Hey guys! Yes I am still alive ❤️ I thought I'd jump on for my BIRTHDAY and let you know I am open to receiving birthday tips, and catch you all up to what life has been like. As I'm sure a lot of you know, I have been working on my business doing art workshops. I've also been running women's retreats and other events for women. Hell of a change of scenery. My brain has been saturated with getting this business up and running the right way so I haven't been present here, but I'm not ready to cut the ties with this world yet. I'm still trying to work out in my head how I can make more space for this, but as I'm sure you know, running a solo business isn't easy. I have definitely taken a pay cut to follow my passions, but I find it so rewarding to work with women and helping them embrace their authentic selves. I do use a lot of what I have learnt in this industry, so I will never regret being a part of it and getting to know some of you and receiving your support. It's never forgotten and always appreciated. Know that I'm going to be back with some more content when I find the inspiration. In the meantime, TIA for your birthday gifts and wishes, and THANK YOU for allowing my dreams to come true. If you ever contributed to my success here, you were part of the building blocks for me to reach my ultimate purpose. Big love x

There are things in life you can control, and others you can’t. If you take control of the ones you can, you will stop focussing on what you can’t control. How do you do that? Discipline. Discipline is the best thing for your mental health, because it’s all about showing up for yourself. You control your daily rituals and your exercise routine. How good does it feel when you don’t feel like doing something that’s good for your mental health but do it anyway? You can pat yourself on the back cause you got that thing done today. Alternatively, if you always choose to be lazy, you let yourself down every single day, and you feel like you have no control over your own life and goals.

Once you finished your 45 min time block of work, reward yourself with a coffee, 5 min mindless scroll time on SM or an onlyfans PPV 😈, but not until you finished a block or a task. Don’t wait until you finished a 6 month project to reward yourself.

Those tips aren’t just to avoid burn out, but also to live a more fulfilling life. I think setting boundaries is the hardest tip of all, so things are easier from here. My second tip is: Set timers through the day. I now work in blocks of 45 minutes to an hour, followed by breaks. I also set timers to do house chores. For my fellow ADHDers, you will love this. This hack changed my life. If I have to do a house chore, like laundry, vacuuming, dishes… I will set a timer for 15 minutes, and literally try to race the clock. How much of my laundry can I get folded in 15 minutes, or how much of the dishes can I get washed? I’m on a timer so i dont stop every 2 minutes to check my phone. This is much more effective on a daily basis than looking at the entire house and think « shit ill need an entire day to do this. »

My first tip is boundaries: Stop people pleasing and saying yes to everything even when you don’t feel like it. You really don’t have to. People respect people who have boundaries, and use people who don’t. Having boundaries doesn’t mean being an asshole. It means knowing your limits and respecting them, and expecting others to respect them to.

I’m sure some of you also struggle with burn out. In my next post I will write some tips about how to avoid burn out that work for everyone.

To be honest, I’d rather be home alone painting, but I’m prepared to sacrifice some alone time to get closer to what i want to do. It’s in part thanks to my beautiful community here that I was able to jump head first into this. I still need your help :) Tip if you like my little caption updates, cause if you dont I wont do them hahah.

I even hired a business coach 🤯 The first meeting I had with her, I explained everything I do at the moment, and all my ideas for the future. It was an absolute mess and I didn’t know how to rank my priorities and how to set goals, so it was totally worth hiring someone to help me put my thoughts in place.
