Hey everyone, long post ahead...so I finally got the results in and I wanted to share this with you guys...I wasn’t selected to be a finalist for the cosplay contest for league of legends...I’m incredibly saddened by this and it truly hurts me. Especially knowing I’ve worked so hard... I dropped everything to focus and finish and I didn’t get picked, I went through so much so so much hurt and I had to overcome by finishing it... and also to see someone who I believe did less work creating her costume made it instead hurts even more... https://na.leagueoflegends.com/en-us/news/community/state-farm-cosplay-contest-finalists/ you can check out the finalists here. I know I have to send out some content to many of you I will send them soon in a bit as I gather my emotions and myself...I felt incredibly sad lastnight like I knew that this was coming... Hello everyone, I know I’ve been very very quiet. My apologies however!, I have been working on a crazy big project that requires my every bit of time and energy. I’m upgrading it from what it was to a better project. This video is part of the coding and wiring I’ve done so far for the LEDs. Next week is the last week to complete this project for The League of Legends Cosplay Contest hosted by State Farm Insurance. I really want to be a finalist for the competition. Once Friday comes I’ll be submitting this project (Bullet Angel kai’sa ) and all normal content that I post here will resume! Heyooo lux here! Here’s look number one I just tried on to see how my wings look and the overall costume. This isn’t the official look as I’m not wearing the correct wig and no make up 😅. But I spray painted my last coat on my wings and was excited to try them on! I will weather them a bit (maybe) lol My hard work on these wings paid off I’m in loveeeee! I’ve been working on my succubus wings! The process is very tedious. I used foam mats (black) for the base and sanded it smooth, I used 2mm foam (White) for the inner pieces And added wire in a trench in the foam for sturdiness. I used black worbla (Thermoplastic) for the attachment for the wings. Which sits in my corset. And the last steps is sculpting the details with foam clay (gray) to give it a finishing texture. Once the foam clay dries (about 24 hours) it’s ready for last sanding stage then time to prime and paint. I’m excited to finish this project and to put my completed look together with it. These wings will be used for a future morrigan cosplay as well! 😊
