Just a few vids. First, just being silly. Love dancing & singing & playing my Country music loud as I do hh chores. The others are some of my workout from yesterday. Typically, the workout is for lighter or bodyweight. You run thru all exercises & drop the first each round. I did 3 rounds mainly because I was going med heavy, slower more focused on form & bracing my core. When u hold weight in just hand, you have to brace your core & works your stabilizer muscles 😉...aka side abs😋. That's one reason I use free weights & the bar vs a bunch of machines. 😁

First week on the new job done. Hope it's many more that I'll enjoy🙂. Found out they have upped the salary for my old position to $110-130k 😳 yeah...that's what I thought. Even if they would have offered me that to stay...sometimes money isn't always the motivating factor😉

A new job may be necessary 😔. Apparently, this company doesn't allow sleeveless tops regardless if professional attire. Tho I could wear jeans & t-shirts if I want🙄. I dress for myself & really pisses me off when I'm told what I can & cannot wear when it's unnecessary. I'm wearing a sleeveless dress tomorrow. We'll see what happens. 99% of my summer wardrobe is sleeveless. Had I known...I NEVER would have accepted the job! I'm having anxiety over this issue😔

First day othe job...done😁. During training, I remembered how much I dislike accounts payable & receivables. I'm just hoping that's a small part of the job. I can begin to see I may not be busy...like hardly ever. Totally different than what I've been doing. I'm going to have to find stuff to keep my mind busy & entertained. I just hope I have some mentally challenging things too...otherwise I'm going to be bored with the job!😬

Thanks for the well wishes of starting the new job tomorrow. I'm excited & anxious at the same time. I so want this to be my forever position until retirement! Longest I've ever been at 1 job has been 4 yrs. Bare with me as my posts & chats will be sporadic until I get my bearings & the timing. It's a little further commute & dealing with more traffic...😖 hate traffic! I'm one of those that want to get where i need to be in quickest amount of time possible 😬. Anyways...😙 ta ta for now my loves😘

Enjoyed the day off...since my boss at the old job made me leave. She was a hands off boss, but definitely passive aggressive 🙄. Life's too short to put up with that kind of shit. Starting my new job on Monday...I'm very excited!

Still working towards an unassisted pull up 😄 & sample of those 25lb dumbbell curl & press. Still nursing a rear delt strain🙄 so kinda more of a push press. I was feeling strong today! I've really been working on lunges with knee to the ground (holding 25lb dumbbells) & going deeper into my squats. I'd lighten up on the bar to do that. Sometimes accomplishments are just about going heavier, quicker, or more reps. It can also mean doing more concentrated movements 😉

One thing that really resonates with me is...nothing changes, if nothing changes. If you think about it, it applies to so many aspects of life. This is assuming you have some semblance of control over a situation. There are those lucky people out there in life...I'm sure you've seen them. Well, I'm not one of them. I have struggled & done things to create my own luck or set myself up. I grew up in a trailer. Kicked out of the house at 19. Took me 10 yrs to earn my Bachelors & MBA degrees. Every job I've had, I've busted my ass. Life had lots of twists & turns, 3 layoffs. Fortunately, I had improved my positions & salaries with each new position. I don't know why I told you that, but suppose I just want to say is it's okay to be stuck in life sometimes...just don't hang out in that stuck situation...you can make changes 😗

It's official...I turned in my resignation letter to my boss..
It's official...I turned in my resignation letter to my boss this morning. I'll work my 2 weeks. I will try to get things done, but I'm not going to allow the pressure to get to me. Seriously, when I received my offer letter over a week ago, it was like a weight had been lifted off my shoulders. I take my work very seriously and always want to do a great job, but working 45-50hr weeks endlessly and never feeling caught up, literally feeling like I'm always failing...well, it's just not good for my mental health. Don't let your job stress you out all the time...take care of yourself! That's my PSA😁
