anyways, i’ve been considering adding it to my favourite tea (which is a blend of black and green tea with some flowers and fruits) for a few days and today i finally did it as i wanted some, but my house was too cold for a cold drink 🥶
the result was actually a very pleasant alcoholic warm drink ☺️ You don’t get the alcohol fumes you sometimes can experience with mulled wine/cider and i think the Montenegro’s orange hints complement the fruity notes of the tea perfectly and sweetens it up as well 🤗

📸 1: Big Bar, which is my friend’s local so we frequented it 3 or 4 times. I loved the bar scene in New York and the intimate feeling of knowing the bartenders and them knowing you, as well as having the placed filled with familiar faces
📸 2: The New Amsterdam theatre, where we went to see the Lehman Trilogy, a three-act play by Italian novelist and playwright Stefano Massini. It presents the story of Lehman Brothers, from their beginnings as cotton brokers before the Civil War to the company's involvement in the financial crisis of 2008. I thoroughly enjoyed it! I thought everything from the casting to the staging was smartly done and the writing was catchy.
📸 3-5: Sparks, our dinner that night. This is where I learned that it’s not only portions that are big in America, it’s the food itself. A few days before flying I watched a video of this English girl living in New York and she was appalled by the size of the chicken thighs. And I heard a few other stories about things being big (e.g. apples, tomatoes) but nothing prepared for me size of these fucking oysters 🦪 don’t get me wrong, i do love oysters, but that somehow just felt wrong 🥲 like why make oysters meatier?
