Lucky number 7 is my largest tattoo. It was scary to reveal and quite the change to get used to in the mirror at first, but I love it! It says Hug Life, not Thug Life, because I’m a a hugger not a thugger! It was definitely my most painful tattoo, it took 6 hours all in one sitting. The only thing that sucks scour it is the lines are shitty work, I will need to eventually get it touched up by someone better, I’m just not looking forward to that pain!

Next is hidden on the back of my neck. It’s the one I never see myself! This one I got when I worked for an adult magazine and we were throwing an event all over town at strip clubs called Miss Ink’n’Pink. We had tatttoo artists tattooing in the clubs. My 2nd tattoo rarely sees the light of day as I am most often wearing thigh highs. It’s a band of leaves around my ankle. It’s also blurry and has chunks of ink and skin missing out of it because I once had lazer-hair removal and the lady did it over my tattoo, it’s basically the same process as tattoo removal. I got it when I was 21 and my best friend and I decided to just go walk in a shop and get something random. I remember keeping it hidden from my mom for like a month. When I finally showed her, she over-reacted as expected, and asked when I was going to get a face tattooed? Well I finally got my eyebrows tattooed on, so does that count?

Let’s talk tattoos! I have 11 now, 12 or 13 really if you count my eyebrows, but I’m never sure if those count as one or two. My very first tattoo ever was my tramp stamp. It’s blurry and hard to read due to the fact that it’s very small text and over 20 years old, it’s also not English. I had no idea what I was doing back then. At the time I was younger and still living with mom. I knew she was not going to be happy about it, but I was, it was quite the rebellion for me! I went with my best friend who was Greek. We decided to get our own names in Greek as tramp stamps because they were all the rage back then. It was also the late 90s when pants came up a lot higher. We got our own names vowing we’d never put a mans name on ourselves; This is my middle name: Galatea, it’s Greek, you can google it if you need more info on its origins.
