wanted to share something kinda special to me - some of you may have seen on my Instagram that I’ve recently been getting back into music. I have to say, music is the only thing bringing me genuine joy right now. I rejoined choir at my college for this quarter, and a good friend of mine who has been learning to DJ for the past year has started teaching me, and I kinda love it? I always wanted to try it, but I thought it looked too difficult and complicated. Looking at everything the first time I was like “I have no idea how to learn how any of this works”. Somehow, it’s really not as hard as I thought??? Not “easy” per say, but less intimidating than expected.
this video is from last night, my 2nd ever DJ lesson! I’m still extremely new and learning, so it’s not perfect and I don’t do a whole lot of fancy stuff. I’m also concentrating on what I’m doing pretty hard since I’m still trying to memorize everything, (so if I seem pretty stiff that’s why) xD but I’ve learned that if you have any basic music knowledge (and I do have *some* professional training) that the most important thing you really need to be able to do is stay on beat. This stuff is a lot more approachable than I realized because of that.
If I continue to practice, my friend and I are thinking of starting a DJing duo where we might actually start performing at real gigs. This is a really exciting project for me and I’m hoping to keep at it and make it a real thing. I also hope that what I learn and who I get to know through DJing might eventually set me up to start pursuing a solo music career eventually if this really takes off in a good direction, or at the very least I can maybe start adding random vocals to stuff since singing is my main music thing.
what do you think so far? Keep in mind I’m new to this so I already know it’s not incredibly skilled DJing, but could you see this working in a potential night clubbing scenario? Would u at least bop ur head to this if u heard it live? Should I start streaming DJ practices and stuff? (Btw my friend is a dude so it’ll be a while before I start doing any sexy solo DJ stuff, if you’re looking to just watch cute girl DJing and dancing in sexy outfits that’s not gonna happen for a long while, until I learn how to do all this properly and get some equipment of my own lol. These streams will likely start out on Instagram and tiktok for now, and I’m probably gonna be dressed in black hoodies and stuff since that’s what I normally wear day to day anyways)
Sorry I haven’t worked much the past couple of weeks - for those of you who don’t know, I fractured my foot when I fell during the major ice rain storm a couple weeks back. My foots hurting pretty bad and it’s making it difficult for me to do daily tasks or even concentrate on anything (like work) because the pain is really distracting. Last night I woke up in the middle of the night with a freaky burning sensation coming from right where the fracture spot is. Ice helped a bit but it really freaked me out because it felt super weird and painful.
I am cleared by my doctor to lightly walk and stuff but I have to wear a boot. I’ve been having to wait a few days for the boot to come in the mail because - get this - the doctors office was trying to charge me $800 (yeah eight HUNDRED) dollars for a boot that costs only around $80-90 on Amazon. So I dug around on Amazon and found another brand for around $60… still sucks to spend that but yeah… why the astronomical markup just to get it directly from my doctors office…? And I have insurance so why can’t insurance cover such things??? I saw a tweet the other day that said “the funny thing about insurance in America - even if u have it, it kinda feels like u don’t”. It’s not wrong lol 🙃🙃🙃
So I’ve got an insane amount of stuff to catch up on and I’m gonna be on the struggle bus to pay my bills this month. I also start college again so that’s gonna murder me mentally 🥲 You don’t have to feel obligated at all but if anyone wants to donate anything (every penny helps) to help me get through the month I’d really appreciate it :’) don’t worry if u can’t or don’t want to though. I’ll try to send something as a thanks for donations but I don’t want to promise anything this month because I can’t easily make new content and I’m just so overwhelmed by how behind I am… feeling burnout a bit…

I’m going to delete this set forever this year. I used to love this set just for the memories even though I hated how my face turned out in them. After all the hate I got on these yesterday on tiktok I no longer want most of these photos out there and my memories of this photoshoot are kind of ruined now. I don’t want to look at most of these ever again.
I’m going to do a very limited run of this because I worked hard on it, and I also promised I’d post it again. I know some people here on OF liked this one. I cant look at these the same anymore unfortunately which is why when I post it it’s going to be sort of a last chance thing. I hadn’t planned on retiring this set so soon. Honestly it was a hell of a lot of hard work. 5 people in total worked on this set. It feels like a waste of everyone’s time to delete them forever. But tiktok is right. most of them suck.
If you don’t want to purchase the whole set that’s okay. I’ll be saving probably only about 5 or so of these that I’ll post as a free mini set. The only few photos that don’t make me cringe.
I’ll post the full set sometime this week.

***my Christmas dva set is coming out today at 3pm PST!*** ✨ It’s going go be super cheap because of a couple reasons - first, I wanted to do something cheaper to be accessible to everyone because I know the holidays are rough for people financially and I don’t want anyone to have to experience fomo because of money (I can’t post this set for free because I charged people in the past when it was a Patreon set, and that wouldn’t be fair to them, but I CAN make it very inexpensive! I also spent money and time making this cosplay myself so I put a lot of work into it.) second, this set is more on the wholesome side.
