I celebrated the new year, everything was wonderful, and I’m finally back here! three months ago, I set a goal to draw 20 portraits by the end of 2024. the year’s almost over, and I did it!! :3 creating these characters was an inspiring process, and they turned into a great source of motivation for me. *one of the original portraits was drawn on paper, but since the rest were digital, I decided to swap it out to keep the collection all in digital. I can’t use youtube premium right now because of some account issues, and the ads are driving me nuts, so I’ve switched to another app for music. I’ve been making playlists there, and honestly, it’s working out fine for now. hoping to get back to youtube soon, though!! I just started a “winter era” playlist because I had a “fall era” one for autumn. my fall playlist was full of sad, heavy vibes — lots of emotional rap and similar stuff. but the winter playlist feels completely different! mostly cozy tracks that are softer and more uplifting. it’s such a nice change. lately, I’ve been feeling inspired to cook, and honestly, it’s been bringing me so much joy. yesterday, I made little toasts with omelet, cheese, avocado, and greens. simple but delicious. I’ve noticed that when I cook my own meals, I tend to enjoy them more mindfully than when I eat something store-bought. the other day, I made my version of “lazy onigiri”: rice, tuna, nori, cucumber, and soy sauce — all mixed together in one bowl. I’m not sure if this is a real recipe, but someone told me about it, and it’s been something I like to cook every time when I no idea about other dishes. super easy and tasty, and I often recommend it to friends.
