

Working on building back my upper body strength. One day at a time ๐ฎโ๐จ ๐๐ผโโ๏ธ started with a 14min mile warm up ๐ช๐ป did a 20rep buildup chest press and reached a new max of 80lbs ๐ ๐๐ผโโ๏ธ ran an 11min mile ๐ช๐ป finished off with 2 pull ups About 8 years ago I was diagnosed with a heart condition that caused me to become very weak in my chest. I went from being, as my classmates called it, a โpull up queenโ (I set the school record for a female athlete at 26 reps) to barely being able to 1 rep within a week. It was very difficult for me mentally and physically. I still struggle with it, but Iโm so proud of myself for working towards gaining that strength back and overcoming my condition. Although my form was not great for the second rep, Iโm so proud of myself for following through ๐ฅฐ
