I spent the afternoon with my loving Filipino neighbor, who’s like a mother to me, and kept her company for Valentine’s Day since her daughter is away on a ski trip. I think the hardest part about moving will be being further away from my Filipino “mom.” It’s been so nice living next door, being able to pop over anytime, and having her stop by when she needs something. I’ll definitely need to make an effort to visit her as much as possible after I move!
