







Hi y’all, sorry for the lack of updates recently – it’s just been a bit busy irl. But wow, 340 fans! That means a lot to me; thank you so much! I really hope you do enjoy seeing my body and gym progress and will continue to support me. 😇🙏🏻
I’ve been recording a lot more of my workouts, not just the heavy lifts but also the WODs so I can track the progress of those as well, which I’ve posted here, such as double-unders, barbell thrusters, burpees.
In terms of the big lifts, here are some updated PBs:
Sumo deadlift 115kg
Deadlift 99kg
Back squat 90kg -> 95kg
Bench press 62kg
Clean & jerk 47kg -> 57kg
Snatch 32kg -> 35kg
I’m particularly happy with the big jump on clean & jerk, as that shows how much I’ve improved on upper body strength and control. However, I do feel my upper back and shoulders aren’t recovering as quickly as before, which means I need to take more rest days or deload for some WODs (such as thrusters). 😳 I need to remind myself that it’s ok to not always push for more weight. Sometimes it’s more beneficial to really focus on form. 💪🏻
And then the physique part, well, I think I’ve reached a point where it’s much harder to notice week on week (or even month on month) changes, and quite frankly it seems to be more related to diet than training. So unless I really drill down on very detailed diet plans, I’m gonna look pretty much the same, I think. But I’m really happy with how far I’ve gone, and just maintaining the progress is sufficient for me right now. After all, that was never an intended goal to begin with.
