Like most Christian holidays, it was adapted to fit Christian beliefs, to include changing the deity of the holiday from a woman, to a man 🙄 Ostere, the Goddess of spring and the dawn, was worship as a symbol of fertility, and the symbolism of Easter is as ancient as its celebration. I’d say it’s all pretty obvious, eggs, flowers, bunnies - all symbols of female fertility - with bunnies being the less obvious cute symbol. But let’s not forget the old saying to “fuck like rabbits” 😁😏 So this Easter, let’s take it back to its roots - worship the Goddess in your life! 👸🧎🖤
