My girlfriend keeps going on about this katsudon place she says is amazing. She’s mentioned it so many times now that I can’t help but get curious. Apparently, the pork is perfectly crispy, the egg is just the right texture, and even the rice is worth talking about. I think I might need to check it out soon—she’s really selling me on it

It’s been such a simple, easy start to the year so far—good weather, good conversations, and now the promise of good food. It feels like the perfect way to ease into January.
