Quickie slo mo squat clip hehe I've had some inquiries about the hip physio I did since it's so minimal but it was part of the grueling rehab regime I was on for a yr to relearn how to walk after I was completely bedbound 3 yrs ago so it also very effective. My hips are still incredibly weak, I struggle with standing and walking still for more than a minute but the improvements I've made, even tho they were so incredibly difficult and slow, have added up to some real damn progress and I am super proud of myself! I haven't been able to do any physio or even qigong since my birthday bcs of this flare so I am also v proud to announce FIRST SQUAT IN A MONTH WOOPWOOPPPP. I can only manage one a week but if my hip handles that and doesn't sublux then I can increase to twice a week after a month. Bb steps 🥰 as an impatient person I hate everything about this obviously 😅 For anyone else that has hip or knee issues this type of squat is also very good! You make sure you don't drop your butt below your knees and all movements are incredibly slow and controlled. The pressure is down balanced between your heel and ball of your foot and then you engage laterally the whole time by pushing your knees outward against the band as you do the squat to keep them lined up over your feet. Make sure your core is tight and your back isn't rounded too much either way (neutral core is key, this is more about stability than booty building) If you'd like more details about core posture or a dif angle let me kno 💕 This was after my chiro appt and unplanned so omgosh an actual real life not trying to be sexy outfit Bahaha. I didn't have the spoons to take my braces off and pants and then put shorts on and then redo the braces so here's the 'real' Clara haha 🙈 I do think I should redo this again when I'm feeling stronger with some cheeky gym shorts tho what do you think? 😈
